This is the 'rarest' picture in my collection.

DC electric being hauled by an ED on the ex-GWR mainline between Banbury and Leamington Spa.

Had to clone a few leaves out as the darn thing was so quiet I hardly heard it coming and had to snatch a shot.

The EM2 was being taken back to Manchester after the Basingstoke event the previous weekend as I recall - September 1988.

Apparently the 73 took 'Ariadne' as far as Tyseley, this is the only other picture I've seen of this trip
