Pity about the salt bin in the foreground, but I quite like this - a couple of old timers that are still active, plus my first sight of a class 68.
Nikon D7000 1/10sec hand held f4.8 f 38mm ISO 800. Processed in Picasa with Imagenomic noise reduction.

You may have read the story from the shot I took on my phone earlier this week, however if not then please read on.
We were at the start of a family holiday for a week in Grayrigg, Cumbria. We called in to see some of the family that moved up here from London a year or so back. Recently Abi and Dan bought their first house here in Arnside, and this is the view from the front room.
I missed the shot of a unit that passed heading north just after we arrived, but luckily a glance at RTT indicated that a flask train was a few minutes away. So, I decided that a couple of locos with two wagons would just about fit into the shot and asked Dan to take this.
Little did I know that fellow flickr photographer Ian Tunstall was driving the train - please confirm the loco numbers 'Tunny' as at ISO 800 they were a bit grainy at hi res (oh, and the headcode too mate).
Also unknown to me, Dan's dad is a similar age to myself and is a big train fan who lives in Birmingham. Dan's grandfather was a signalman at Birmingham for a considerable time, including a spell at New Street station during World War two.
This photo will go into the Yes themed group, as I was wearing my Chris Squire T shirt at the time (ever grateful Bruce) and Dan is a bass player.
