On a magical pond in Maine...
In this photo, I was watching a young Moose through my camera as it was very curiously following a Mama Goldeneye Duck & her four ducklings along the shore. To my surprise, a Loon drifted into my view as I was taking pictures. There were also little fish jumping out of the water all around the pond. In this shot, I even captured a little fish jumping. Too bad you can't really make it out... but, it's there. Mama Moose was nearby hanging out in the water eating. She was too far over to get her in the shot, too! ha ha! Extra lucky moments like this don't happen very often. To me, it was simply a magical moment in time... : )
