HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY, everyone!
Tuesday, 14 February 2023: our temperature at 11:30 am is -6°C (feels like -11°C). Sunrise was at 7:51 am and sunset is at 5:50 pm. We had a bit more snow last night.
On 12 February 2023, I made a longer drive, this time NE of Calgary. It was such a beautiful day and our weather forecast shows more snow coming soon. No luck with any owls, but I did find a number of barns that I had seen previously, and a couple of 'new' ones. If I remember correctly, this was the first time I had ever seen this red barn.
The only birds I saw were a couple of Ravens and maybe three or four Common Magpies. Whenever I have been out this winter, the birds seem so few and far between.
