-22°C (FEELS LIKE-32°C)!

Yesterday, 4 December 2022, I was determined to get out for a short drive. My car was clear of snow and I knew that this was going to change today, with more snow forecast. More snow tomorrow, too, which means I will be spending the next few days at home.

My drive was just a short one, in one of my favourite areas SE of the city. Was hoping that I might just come across a Snowy Owl, but once again, I was out of luck. These beautiful owls stay around for maybe another three months, so there is plenty of time to try a few more times.

Barns were pretty much the only things to photograph, all familiar ones. Looks like it is just about time to start digging into my archives yet again, to get a better variety of subject matter.

There was a Chinook Arch across the sky in one direction. Later on, the sky became rather overcast, reducing the light. As usual at this time of the year, I needed to head for home around mid-afternoon. Felt good to get out for a short while, though.
