These are the last five photos from my drive the other day.

On 17 March 2023, it was another day when all cars had to be removed from our parking lot for the day, so that all the snow and ice could be removed. For me, that meant I would need to do a drive out of the city to 'kill' several hours (ended up being 7 and a half hours). To put it mildly, I was not impressed at all when I returned home at 4:30 pm and found that it looked exactly like it was when I left home at 9:00 am! Same thing happened last time. This was the first time I had been out for a drive in about 5 weeks, since 12 February.

I decided that I would drive a few roads SW of the city and then do one of my usual drives further east. So much snow everywhere and I can't say I like driving on snowy/icy roads. The scenery was beautiful, though, as was the weather!

Apart from a few Horned Larks in several places and some Ravens feeding on a deer that must have been roadkill, I didn't see any other wildlife. A few red barns were so welcome against the snowy landscape.

A touch of filter was added to this image in post-processing.

Continuing to post a few photos from my archives until the next time I go for a drive, hopefully this coming week. I am adding the description that I wrote under a previously posted photo taken the same day.
