Stack of 17 25 s exposures shot with a 20mm focal length on a Nikon D80 with ISO HI 0.3. Images were registered, stacked, and initially processed in PixInsight. Final touches in PS CS 5.1. Shot over the Pacific Ocean from Cambria, CA on 2018-10-12.
I like how the Coathanger asterism is at the top. This photo also has the effect of steam rising from the "teapot" of Sagittarius. The Sagittarius and Scutum star clouds stand out nicely.

Shot on the evening of 2018-10-12 from Moonstone Beach in Cambria, CA. The star field is a stack of 15 25 s exposures shot at high ISO 0.3 with an 8 mm fisheye lens on a Nikon D80. The water and land in the foreground is a 3 minute exposure with the same lens and ISO 1600 with noise reduction. The stars frames were stacked and processed in PixInsight. They were composited with the foreground in PS CS 5.1.
The Summer Triangle is prominent in the center of the photo. Sagittarius and Saturn are setting at bottom center, and Mars and Fomalhaut are the brighter objects in the lower left.

The landscape is a 3 minute exposure at f/3.5 and ISO 1600 with a Nikon D80 and 18.0 mm focal length lens.
The sky is a stack of 35 15 second exposures, same ISO, f/stop and focal length. Those images were combined and initially processed in PixInsight. The first of the subframes was shot immediately after the longer exposure of the land, so the stars were aligned to the long exposure in PS CS 5.1 where they were combined.
Shot from Cambria, CA on 2017-12-20.

Before I shut down for the night, I had to take advantage of Death Valley's skies for this shot. This is a single 441s exposure at ISO 1600 and f/4.5 with a Nikon D80 and 18.0-135.0 mm lens set to 32.0 mm focal length. Initial processing in PixInsight with final touches in PS CS 5.1. The Milky Way stretches the length of this photo from the lower left to the upper right. Visible along this stretch are the North America Nebula and the complex of emission nebulae around Sadr (γ Cyg), along with many star clusters and regions of dark molecular dust. The Coathanger asterism is at the top right.
