I'm not sure if this was intended for, but if you know it's there it's a good way to find the station. This sign was mounted on the elevated guideway directly over the street. I couldn't read it from the ground, but with a long enough zoom lens (or binoculars) you could tell which way to run (that's what the pictograms tell you to do) to get to the station. I suppose this sign is there to help out maintenance and/or emergency personnel.
