Olary, SA .......sad to see another SA iconic Aussie Outback Pub, and township bite the dust. Many a traveller stopped at Olary to quench their thirst and indulge in outback hospitality along the highway to Broken Hill. Survived for so many years, but looks like that era is over judging by the unmade bed, intact interior, seating and bar. Looking very much like the owner just departed quickly and never looked back, perhaps Covid was the final straw in its abandonment ?
