This is the last railway carriage(s) cottage on the seafront at Bracklesham. Much modern development has gone on and these old cottages are disappearing fast as their plots of land become more valuable. The new ones just don't seem right.

With the tell-tale barrel roof of an old railway carriage, this is one of a good number of highly prized cottages. The carriages date back to the 1920s or earlier and a lot of them are still in good order underneath the extensions which have been added over the years.
