Ford used carryover styling from the pre-war 1942 models with a minor facelift for 1946, so one way to provide "Something really NEW!" was to offer the woodie look for the convertible. Not many were sold, but they're highly collectible today.

The architect very cleverly incorporated the fifties-style Ford crest into this building. All of the signage and lights made sure you knew what make was sold here. The cars in the showroom in this night-time scene were 1959 models.
