The business plan called for the 24 to be followed up with a smaller ARO 10 at a price of less than $10,000, but few if any ARO vehicles made it to the dealerships.

ARO vehicles were built in Campulung, Romania, but the vehicles imported to the U.S. were to undergo final assembly in Brunswick, Georgia. The 155" long SUV was powered by a 3-litre V-6 engine.

Dacia vehicles of this period were obviously of Renault origin. The Dacia automobile company was established in 1966 and is now a subsidiary of Renault. Dacia automobiles are also assembled in other countries, and are sold in many countries of the world.

Roman Motor Corporation of Miami, Florida displayed ARO, Dacia, and Oltcit vehicles at The Imperial Palace Hotel in Las Vegas on February 2, 1987, in an attempt to solicit U.S. dealers. I don't believe any of those vehicles were ever officially sold in the U.S.
