On the 13th of May 2004 Lord Mayor of Dublin, Royston Brady made a presentation on behalf of the of the Ballyfermot Heritage Group , and also to unveil a plaque to Ballyfermot’s Fury Brothers. Ted and Nora who were Finbar, Eddie,George and Pauls Parents lived on Claddagh Road.
Sadly Paul died on the 17th June 2002

Thanks to Br Damien who allowed Tom Murphy and myself go through the Roll Books on Monday the 29 July 2019. We only concentrated on people born in the 1940s and 1950s. and 1960s. Some of the roll books are mislaid or badly torn and there was a lot of cleaning up to on some of the ones shown in this photo Album. Hi Ken this was my uncle Tom he was all ireland piper at one time I will find out more information and send it on to you he taught the fureys the tin whistle.
