The Ballyfermot Heritage group would like to thank the Lord Mayor of Dublin Paul McAuliffe for inviting us to celebrate our 17 year anniversary in the Mansion House. We would like to thank Liam, Rosemary and Rowan for organising our night there. Our Thanks to Councillor Daithi De Roiste who deputised for the Lord Mayor as unfortunately he could not attend the event. We were joined by Councillors, Council Staff, and many people from Ballyfermot and surrounding areas that served on different Committees down the years. Also remembered on the night was four of our deceased members. Thomas Davis, John (Jack) McMahon, Robert (Bob) Keogh, and William O’ Flaherty as members of their Families attended. Our rich Heritage of music and songs was also on show on the night and thank you to all. A presentation of the Ballyfermot Heritage Plaque was presented to Councillor Daithi De Roiste for the Lord Mayor. Thank you to all that helped us celebrate 17th Anniversary and please God we will have many more days and nights to celebrate our rich Heritage and History
