I was born and raised in Ballyfermot on Colepark Green and Lough Conn Road. I went to Mary Queen of Angels primary school and later to St. Johns College. I now live in Scottsdale Arizona with my wife and twin boys.. This is my first published book , however, I am finishing up a book about growing up in Ballyfermot called, 'Through The Glass Darkly.' I hope to publish by the end of the year. Please note; if you are easily upset and sensitive to books making light of religion or people of faith, then I would not recommend this book as you will find it offensive. Although that was never my intention, that's where the book went. Also, the characters currently don't have a high opinion of Ballyfermot, and make fun of it the book. That is not my view and I am immensely proud to have grown up there among my friends and family. This book is purely fiction and in the second book of series, the characters will redeem themselves and speak highly of that great town. You can visit the website at pagan-gods.com/

Pagan Gods and the dead of Dublin is a story of a group of Dubliners who are dead, but who did not go gently into that good night. They are caught in a world where they walk among the living in an unseen spectral state. When they encounter us living humans, innocently walking by on the sidewalk, they extract a pinprick of our life verve as they touch up against us in our daily lives. This transference of human lifeforce sustains them in their roles as the waking dead of Dublin. The story is also about two angry Pagan Gods, who are exacting revenge on the Irish for forsaking the Paganism of ancient Ireland, and instead chose Saint Patrick’s Christianity. The story begins in present day Dublin, with two ghosts having a bit of a chat, and a drink or two in Glasnevin cemetery. Then we travel back and forth in time, from the streets of the Liberties to the suburban wastelands of Ballyfermot, as we explore their lives when they were mortals. The Pagan Gods conversations and observations about the Judeo-Christian faiths is interesting, as is the story of the Virgin Mary In Ireland. Mythology, faith, paganism, history, death, blasphemy, sex, profane language and humor is the theme of this disturbing book. Welcome to the Pagan Gods and the Dead of Dublin.
