The Ballyer Trad Hub welcomed along Catherine Scuffil Historian for Dublin City Council and she sang the lovely song Grace.
Ann Gill who is a member of the Ballyer Trad Hub and who's Gran father was a passenger on the Ballyfermot Troop Train Ambushed, 8th July 1921 near Le Fanu Road in Ballyfermot. This was the last major action of the War of Independence. Catherine Scuffil and Liz Gillis has given talks on this in the Libraries around Dublin. Nearer the anniversary date this year 2024 Ballyfermot Heritage hope to get both Catherine Liz and Ann to give a talk in the Ballyfermot Library on this. will keep you all informed
