Thank you to the Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithí de Róiste for taking time out to unveil the Ballyfermot Trail Map and Guide. the Dublin city Councillors were thanked by the Ballyfermot Heritage Group for their help in bringing the Trail Map and Guide to Ballyfermot and a special thanks to Cllr Vincent Jackson, Cllr Daithí Doolan, Cllr Hazel de Nortúin, Cllr Sophie Nicoullaud. The Heritage Group also welcomed along Alan Sherry, Liam `Hendricks Victoria Kearney, from Dublin city Council and Catherine Scuffil Historian in Residence with Dublin City Council and all were thanked for their great work put into the Trail Map also. Lovely to see the Teachers and Students of St Louises School along for the unveiling and a huge thanks to Garda Kevin and Sarah for helping with the traffic control.
It was back to Ballyfermot Library for refreshments. A huge thanks to the Library Staff f for their hospitality, and to Joe Coleman, Sean and, Tara Brennan, Susanne Plummer, Pat Craig, Leo O' Rourke, John Deering, Joan and Brian Wilson, Anna Spellman, Tess McKeever, and Niamh Nr Cholmain which helped make it a great morning in Ballyfermot..
