Lovely conversation with John Corcoran today 28 August 2024 about his great memories of Ballyfermot . Mr and Mrs Corcoran and 4 of their children moved into 156 Lally Road about the same time as the Clark Family who lived in 158 Lally Road. Both the Corcoran and Clark Families had moved from the tenements Fingal Street Dublin 8 to Ballyfermot in 1948

Mr and Mrs Corcoran had six Children Peter born 1942, Michael Born 1943, Margaret Born 1945, Concepta 1948 John 1952, and Olive 1954. Mr Corcoran who have being well know as he worked for Lucan Dairies in Parkgate Street and one of his rounds was lower Ballyfermot and John his second youngest use to give him a hand before school and weekends. John went to Golden Bridge and St Michaels School. Hope to meet up with John soon to discuss his history further .
