A panning time-lapse over looking Cochabamba, Bolivia in 2008.

I used the high resolution images of Cochabamba time-lapse, and wrote some software in IDL to cut out a slightly different potion of the image of each frame.

The result being two very different time-lapse movies for the effort of one!

But It is a depressing view. Such poverty in the city itself, and vast amounts of money is being wasted shinning light into the sky... which is why you cannot see any stars in this time-lapse.
