Norfolk is very popular holiday destination, yet I wonder how many people actually take the trouble to visit the city of Norwich. Its famous cathedral is one of the most beautiful in the country, and just across the road from there is one of the finest groups of medieval streets and buildings that you are likely to come across. I believe they are on a par with those in York. Pictured is part of the colourful Quayside In Norwich, with the spire of the cathedral in the distance. A number of the buildings along here are listed and date from the 1700s.
