A well laden barge makes it's way down-stream along the river Nete in Duffel, Belgium, in the late evening. The pathway in the shot is the old towpath which is now a dedicated cycle/walking path. Despite Duffel being about 100km from the sea, the river is still tidal here. This shot was taken at the height of the tide. The boat is named 'Despatch'.
