There were few good sunsets on my 2010 holiday to Cornwall but this one was half-decent. The sun was long gone when I used my zoom for this view of St Ives from the estuary at Hayle. Shooting at this time enabled me to achieve a balanced exposure between land and sky. I also used a 2 stop ND grad to hold in the sky detail. I cropped the image in photoshop as I felt this strengthened the composition.
