I would like to have thought of something more imaginative for the title of this image - "Tipping Point" perhaps, after the Ben Sheppard hosted game show? Anyway, this image was made during a two minute window of opportunity whilst in Birmingham with my wife. We had been to a concert at the Symphony Hall the previous evening (to see Marillion) and were killing time prior to catching our train from New Street back to Beeston. We also had the pleasure of seeing the rehearsals for the Commonwealth Games handover ceremony, which was performed to the Jeff Lynne (ELO) classic "Mr Blue Sky". Unfortunately, Mr Blue Sky was nowhere to be seen when I made this image - it was more like Mr Overcast Sky, which doesn't quite have the same ring to it, hence the mono conversion, which also helped to add ambiguity to the scene.
