I've been doing A BUNCH of black and white processing this month in preparation for a couple of winter projects. And I'm really enjoying it, although I'm far from having my workflow from being dialed in.
Anyway, this was from this summer at Grand Tetons National Park, during a particularly windy, cold, and rainy stretch of weather near the end of June. The mosquitoes were outrageous, but the storms made for good light from time to time.

This is a re-do on a photo I took a couple of years back. This was pretty easily a top-10 all-time sunset, with some wild crepuscular and anti-crepuscular rays that had my head on a swivel.
The non-traditional composition (huge sky) was mostly because of that giant lit-up cloud, which was practically hanging over my head.
Thanks for checking it out.
