The Say's Phoebe is a medium-sized flycatcher native to the western parts of North America. It typically perches low on exposed branches or structures, hunting for insects in open fields, along water, or in arid landscapes. Known for its agility, the Phoebe darts out to catch prey in mid-air, making it a skilled and active insect hunter.

A beautiful early spring wildflower. We are in a middle of a cold spell so I thought a nice yellow trout lily would warm up me and my northern friends.
