Sydney Airport had its first B748i to visit - Korean Airlines HL7642 doing the honours as KE 121.
After a 2hr turnaround, HL7642 departed back to Seoul Incheon as KAL122.

A trio of Virgin Blue aircraft from May 2011…
VH-VOV ‘Alluring Alice’ seen departing 34L Sydney Airport. VOV was withdrawn from the Virgin fleet Oct 2012, and went on to fly for Jeju Air as HL8263 (NOV 2012 - Sep 2018), and is currently with Jet Time Jan 2019.
VH-VOU ‘Blue Billie’ passing ‘Sheps Mound’ on taxiway Charlie also left the Virgin Fleet April 2013 to Jeju Air as HL8287 Jun 2013 through to Oct 2020. After a period registered as VP-BCC with Smartavia, it was re-registered as RA-73658 and is still active.
VH-VBM ‘Tassie Tigress’ also airborne 34L Sydney Airport, was a ‘not taken up’ by both Rio Sul and GOL (PR-SAC) prior to delivery to Virgin Blue, and was withdrawn from the fleet Dec 2011. Currently SE-RET with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS)!
