I didn't have the opportunity to get an earlier shot for today's Challenge as I was finishing, yes finishing, my painting and listening to Andy Murray' wonderful victory at Wimbledon - actually I managed to watch the final set and what a great match that was!!
Now, if I was a visitor to my little town I might just have to take a walk along the beach and photograph the wonderful views looking out towards the Island of Arran approximately 12-miles across the Firth of Clyde. However, if I was a visitor and it was around 8 p.m. (when this photo was taken) I might just ask if I could take a walk through St.Nicholas Golf Club and catch this view of Arran with the Salt Pans also in view - I'm also looking across the 1st green. I had a little luck with this shot because at this time in the evening there are always lots of starlings flying around in formation - this little flock came flying past but unfortunately not so many, this time!!
