The twin-screw towboat "Creole Pride" (75x28, Cat diesels, 1300 hp) was built in 1975 by Bourg (Louisiana) Drydock and Service and was originally owned by LeBoeuf Bros. Towing Co., Houma, Louisiana.
In 1985, the boat was sold to McBride Towing Co., Harrods Creek, Kentucky, and renamed "Sharon M".
