Looking SE (upstream) toward Upper Blue River Island from high ground at Wyandotte Woods (later renamed O'Bannon Woods State Park).
This fairly unimpressive island is so-named because it is about 2 miles upstream from where the Big Blue River flows into the Ohio.
(There is also a Blue River Island which is even smaller).

Cattle in the Ohio River bottomland near Wyandotte Woods (later renamed O'Bannon Woods State Park).
They may have thought I was going to feed them, but I didn't have any hay bales with me at the time.
