This clip has been dubbed “the single greatest shot in television history”. It certainly will be the best 72 seconds you will watch today 😊.
The science historian and BBC television producer James Burke found himself reporting on the launch of Voyager 2 on August 20, 1977.
After explaining how combustion occurs in space rockets, he was handed one chance to nail the launch of the mission, and he did so masterfully. Please note that this is completely real, and NOT a green-screen effect.
Taken from Connections (1978), Episode 8, "Eat, Drink and be Merry". Copyright BBC, starring James Burke.

Burke begins the combustion piece at around minute 46. Thus, you could watch the longer version of “the single greatest shot in television history”, which would be ~ 3 minutes.
