This has been dubbed the “most intelligent photograph ever taken”. It was captured during the Fifth Solvay International Conference on Electrons and Photons held in 1927 in Brussels, Belgium. This conference helped shape the modern interpretation of quantum mechanics. (See: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solvay_Conference)
Out of the 29 attendees, 17 were or became Nobel Prize winners. These are: Louis de Brogli, Erwin Schrödinger, Wolfgang Pauli, Charles Thomson Rees Wilson, Werner Heisenberg, Peter Debye, Marie Skłodowska Curie, William Lawrence Bragg, Max Planck, Paul Dirac, Arthur Compton, Max Born, Irving Langmuir, Hendrik Lorentz, Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein, Owen Willans Richardson.
