It was a really nasty day... minus 20 with a windchill of minus 35... whatever possessed me to go out to Fort Whyte I do not recall... but lucky I was...
I may have been the only foolish soul out there on this day but I happened across the Great Horned Owl that was trying to stay out of the wind... He allowed me to get a number of good shots thru the trees before deciding to fly elsewhere...
