While on a walk thru Beaudry Park two weeks ago... looking for a Great Horned Owl that had been photographed out there... I came across this porcupine... he was high up in a tree (yes they climb trees... I can't believe how many times I have been asked that in the last week)...
He was just taking it easy chewing on the stick that is in his hand...

While on a walk thru Beaudry Park a couple weeks back... looking for a Great Horned Owl that had been photographed out there... I came across this porcupine... she was high up in a tree (yes they climb trees... I can't believe how many times I have been asked that in the last week)...
She appeared to be sleeping... just resting on the branches... or so it appeared... if you look closely you can see her eyes appears to be just open... this is likely the mate to the other porcupine that I had photographed as they were only about 50 yards away from each other...
