Every afternoon the wallabies make their way to Wallaby Flat for some casual grazing on the lush grass.
The barbwire fence is no hazard to them as they easily scramble under with no problems and find themselves in a dog free zone.
We never seem to get more than 6-8 at a time and often less depending on the time of year. Some are often carrying Joeys and sit outside our windows with little fear.It is possible to get quite close to them.
I have some other photos which I will add over the coming week.

Family : Varanidae
We have not seen goannas here for sometime for inexplicable reasons.it was great to see them back this summer.
Interesting to read that they are now considered to be somewhat venomous.
