Not sure about this as I'm not the best at using this particular vintage lens but it is my very very favourite old fence. Taken using a Sony A7M2 with a helicoid attached which isn't being employed in this shot - btw. The lens is a Tair !1a 135mm and the aperture @5.6mm and taken manually. I don't personally think anyone would rush out to buy a copy of this lens after seeing this but it still holds some attraction for me. I have taken shots of this fence very many times and I like this particular rendition of it. I am writing in a hurry as we are off on an errand again and Jonathan is chafing at the bit......

I would like to thank everyone for your kind faves and comments on my photo and on Explore too.. I am away and the internet keeps dropping making it too slow and difficult to comment back at present.

The day after Christmas we woke up to a magical setting. The trees had frosted overnight. I went looking for Snowy Owls with two good friends and we found magic once again!

“Where water gently falls, peace can be found by just listening to its music.”

The music of gently falling water could be heard more than it could be seen in this Romanian waterfall. Water trickled slowly off the moss-covered shelf above the pool. Spread out in hundreds of tiny streams, each its own miniature waterfall, together they produced a gentle symphony of sounds with each stream producing its own special note. With such a disperse flow of falling, tiny streams, it took a three minute exposure to capture enough water and bring out the fall’s lacelike nature each stream highlighted by the soft forest light. Magic indeed.
