One of the most import battles ever fought on Scottish soil was won here, The Battle of Stirling Bridge, which is where a vastly outnumbered Scots force brought defeat to a huge English army.

St Phillans Shore lies on the West Coast of Scotland at North Ayrshire. This is such an idyllic place to relax for a few hours allowing the day to pass and sometimes you get an interesting sunset and other times you may have an nteresting historic boat passing by just like this evening with the PS Waverly.
