Some of you know what I have been through over the last few years, well, this little spot at Firkin Point was the ideal spot for some reflecting of my own, along with a nice cup of Earl Grey Tea.
Last month I had my left kidney removed because I had a massive cancer tumor on it, turned out to be grade 4 and the most aggressive type of kidney cancer I could have gotten. Fortunately, it has not appeared to have travelled anywhere else in my body.
I have been selected to go on a drug trial for immunotherapy, I need to see a specialist at The Beatson Oncology Centre in Glasgow in a couple of weeks to get to know more about it.
So after spending a bit of time at this place, I have reflected on what has happened with me lately and I have decided that every day must be lived, there is no room for boredom, there is no more room negativity in my life from anywhere and I will seek out the good things in life and plan for the future that I recently thought I would not have.
If you read all of that and got to this point, thank you.

Glencoe Lochan is a man made lochan near to Glencoe village and the Pap of Glencoe in the West Highlands of Scotland. The weather was stunning today and calm with very little wind or breeze, hence the amazing reflections on the water.
