This man stares off into the distance, perhaps dreaming of a better life, while he waits for someone to purchase his goods. This stand was on a corner intersection of two narrow lanes in the middle of Havana, Cuba.

I took the opportunity one day during my visit to drive around Lake Lucerne. I stopped whenever I found something interesting to photography. At one stop I noticed this little Swiss girl chasing the birds from the shore line. She would walk away once the seagulls flew away, and when they landed, back she came again!

I went for a drive on a Saturday afternoon, leaving Lucerne and heading west.
I told the GPS to not take the highway. The road I was driving on all of a sudden came to an end and there was a ski trail where the road should have been. I walked a bit and found this view.
