Obviously it would have been better to have someone actually walking into the sunset, but when in remote locations you have to take what you can get!

Located in St. Margarets Bay, Nova Scotia, the lighthouse recently underwent a much needed paint job.

While driving the back roads of Eastern Ontario I came across this pair of horses foraging for their lunch. It was snowing heavily so they had a ways to go to get to the grass underneath.

I had to use a long lens because they were a fair distance away. I spent about 15 mins trying different angles. They were beautiful animals and I enjoyed the time spent with them.

It never ceases to amaze me how these horses can casually go about their daily business in snow, freezing rain and cold. It is almost as if they are impervious to the winter climate. Even with their backs covered in snow they go about eating their lunch. I guess we breed them tough here in Canada!

At Mer Bleue there is both a lower path through the bog, and an upper section that looks down on the plain. I don't often take photos from the upper path, but today it was particular beautiful with the fresh snow fall.

Comments are always welcome and appreciated.
