Morris Island is my second favorite local nature area, but it is not as accessible as Mer Bleue in the winter. This first part of the walk is navigable, but once you get about 150m down this path the tree line disappears and the snow drifts start to appear. It quickly becomes tiring breaking through the snow cap to make trail. Still, I am very fortunate to have areas such as these that I can explore and I do leave a small donation each time I visit.

Very simple composition. But I love the simplicity of it.

From Morris Island, one of my favorite spots for nature walks. I think that I am really going to like having the 16-35mm f4 IS in my camera bag.
