I used a flash on almost all the photos taken during the holidays. I didn't have a modifier attached but rather just bounced the light off of whatever was handy. My grandson Blake has such fair skin that I often ended up with unintended highlights on his cheeks and nose from the light bouncing downwards from the ceiling, and in this case, on his lower lip as well. Regardless, I managed to get him to sit still for just a second and snapped off what is one of my favorite photos from the holidays.
