First of my late season shots on the route used by Mendip Rail.
Woolhampton, just west of Aldermaston was always a favourite of mine and a decent shot both ways in 2007. Shot now lost under a tangle of overhead wires!

The un-loved class 180 DMU design, in demand because of 125 mph top speed, but not very good availability. Used on Paddington to Exeter St Davids semi fast jobs in 2007.
