I shot this image over 10 years ago. I didn't like the original location but loved the implied movement of the characters, and I was drawn back year after year. I always set it aside, thinking, maybe next time.
A couple days ago I went searching for a different image and came across this one again. Something just clicked, and I finally got to finish something I started in what feels like a different lifetime.
Sometimes the things that don't serve us in one moment are simply waiting for us to be ready.
