(Chamaeleo senegalensis - Daudin 1802 - Ssp Laevigatus - Gray 1865) B28I4237 Near Murchinson Falls - Uganda
Finally i got a correct identification after some research.
This one is a female because, for this species, females are larger than males.
This species (wikipedia source) occurs in Mauritania, Senegal, Mali, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Nigeria, Cameroon and Central Africa (the country).
But i have a very specialized book (Petr Necas - Caméléons Joyaux cachés de la nature - Editions Chimaira) which states that the distribution of this species also includes Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania. He does not speak of Uganda but South Sudan and Uganda are contiguous.
On the different photos that I have, there does not seem to be any doubt, backbones, helmet and global morphology, all indicate a Chamaleo senegalensis.
There are subspecies described in the Great Lakes region: Chamaeleo laevigatus (Gray 1865). I found confirmation of this subspecies in reptile-database.reptarium.cz; Chameleon of East Africa's checklist.Inaturalist.org and CAMALEONTIamo ITALIA. Although Uganda is not mentioned by name, there seems to be no doubt with the help of the photos.
As for the way we met it, we stopped to photograph a bird and it was at our feet. Saul our Ugandan guide all excited me and I took a minute to find it ... We had 3 different species of chameleons on this trip.

The differences with the Superb Starling is the red eye and the lack of the white breast band. Just a jewel !

(Pan troglodytes) B28I9005 Kibale Forest - Uganda
Chimpanzees are a common target for poachers. In Ivory Coast, chimpanzees make up 1–3% of bushmeat sold in urban markets. They are also taken in pet trades despite it being illegal in many countries where they live. Chimpanzees are also hunted for medicinal purposes in some areas. Capturing chimpanzees for scientific research is still allowed in some countries, such as Guinea. People sometimes kill chimpanzees that threaten their crops. Chimps may also be unintentionally maimed or killed by snares meant for other animals.
Infectious diseases are a main cause of death for chimpanzees. They succumb to many diseases that afflict humans, because the two species are so similar. As human populations grow, so does the risk of disease transmission between humans and chimpanzees.

On 12 June 2015, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced it will classify all chimpanzees, both wild and captive, as endangered under the Endangered Species Act. Before this ruling, only wild chimpanzees were listed as endangered, while captive chimpanzees were listed as threatened under the act. The final rule was published in the Federal Register of 16 June 2015.

(Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi) B28I5526 Murchinson Falls National Park - Uganda

The Giraffe of Rothschild (Giraffa camelopardalis rothschildi) is a subspecies of the giraffe of the North. There are only 1650 wild individuals left. Coloring and peeling are very different from the Giraffe of North and West Africa.
Habitat and distribution : Isolated populations of Rothschild's Giraffes live in savannahs, grasslands and open woodlands of Uganda and Kenya. They are possibly regionally extinct from South Sudan and northeastern Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Sad humanity that can not protect such wonders
