Things are rough out here in California at the moment. Numerous fires are raging, resulting in a massive loss of homes and property. So far, we've been lucky, but everyday there is a new fire somewhere. Yesterday, a large blaze broke out in town. Fortunately, the fire crews were able to extinguish it before it got out of hand.
Last weekend, we met in a small town in the motherlode for our yearly band reunion. We set-up all our gear and then the Butte fire showed up. We had to quickly pack-up and evacuate the area. The smoke and heat was amazing. Luckily we made to a friend's home in Grass Valley where we were able to set-up and consummate a weekend of music. Hopefully, not like Nero, playing as Rome burned around him.
As for the picture: I'm thinking about water and waves.
