Bridges are such a simple idea. You stretch them from one to point to another and they give you the means to cross over obstacles that can't be traversed by foot or vehicle. I think it's the same with people. We build collaborative bridges to span our differing views and use them to live together as a society. Lately, I've been thinking that bridge building may be a dying art and that fills me with sadness. It would be a shame to get permanently stuck on one side or the other. Think of all the beautiful scenery we would miss.
