In this day and age, modern environmental laws require equipment manufacturers to have a published "end-of-ife" plan for their products. The plan tells the product owner the proper way to dispose of or recycle the product when it reaches it's useful end-of-life. I wonder what the disposal plan for an old GMC truck states. "Tow it to a field in the foothills and let it rust in the sun and rain for eternity." Now that's planning.
