Whilst taking a walk up through Bowness to ensure I got a decent spot for a photo of Trident 17013, this most presentable Volvo Olympian took me by great surprise. Thankfully, I already had my camera set up so I managed a quick photo. Not the best but it'll do. I was quite amazed to see this out, after my initial visit to Morecambe where nothing of any interest could be found. I guess it didn't help going on a Saturday.

As a side note, although I was in Lancaster/Cumbria for the whole day and took around 140 photos, only 7 or 8 will be published online and unfortunately that is likely to be the case from now on. I was informed on Friday, by a fellow Flickr user, that one of my photos had appeared on a well known photo thief's Facebook site, with his own copyright mark on it. This is at least the second or third time I've had photos stolen so I've had a think and come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to start watermarking photos. I can't be doing with watermarks scrawled all over the photo, nor do I have the space to store a copy of each photo I take (which can be up to 400+ photos per trip) so I've decided that I will manually place a discreet watermark on each photo of highlights of each trip. So that will mean fewer uploads from me, sorry all!
