Was due to go to Bamburgh this morning but having to drive in the snow on un gritted roads early on, I chose not to venture the extra 10 miles or so and again visited my favourite beach and castle, plus the fact the snow and sleet was going to be behind me on Bamburgh beach, I knew I had some shade from one of the beach huts here at Embleton Bay

Took a trip down to Old Hartley this morning to capture a shot of St Mary's Lighthouse on Xmas day, not a bad morning, sea a bit flat, but hey who's complaining was a Bari 12 degrees
