I was contacted two years ago to unearth details of Fanny NEUDA's stay in
Vienna towards the end of her life. I found Fanny NEUDA - Schriftstellerin
[authoress] born in Eibenschitz - living alone in Grosse Mohrengasse No 2 Wien
II, in 1880.
This information was a little piece of a jigsaw which was used to reconstruct
her life and have just been told that I have an acknowledgment in the book:
*Hours of Devotion* by Dina Berland:

Fanny [née SCHMIEDL] was indeed a remarkable woman. She was born on 6 March
1819, in Eibenschitz [now Ivancice], Moravia. Her book - first published in
1855 - "Stunden der Andacht" [Hours of Devotion], was written probably as a
direct result of her husband's early death. It became a best-seller with many
editions over the years.
